First time guest on a long weekend after Labor Day. This Hidden gem is just a short drive to Rehoboth shops and board walk. Easily done by bike. Dewey has great restaurants in walking distance with a variety of night life depending on season. Hotel is on the beach the towels are supreme, room clean and service friendly. Had a broken hairdryer and was fixed ASAP. White sheets and comfortable beds. Set your alarm for the wine and cheese and chocolate chip cookie night cap. Complimentary breakfast daily. Egg sausage biscuits were delicious. Coffee and hot water available all day. All you need is suntan lotion and bathing suit. Only down side is no elevator if you can't do stairs well. Would stay again.

Really enjoyed my stay here at Atlantic View Hotel. Was here 2 weeks ago for 2 nights while passing through on my road trip through the Northeast. The room and hotel were nice and clean. I really liked the breakfast, and the cookies in the evening were a nice touch as well. The location is great as well. Very nice and quiet. Also very walkable to Rehoboth beach and the boardwalk. My favorite part was the view while sitting on the balcony. I felt that this hotel was a great value for the money. Will definitely come back if I’m in Delaware again some day.

While my sister and I were at the hotel this June the hot water heater broke. The owner offered to give us a room at his other hotel and give us a discount on all three nights of our stay. We agreed even though it was a big inconvenience to move all of our stuff and the second hotel was in a much busier area which was not our preference. Later, at home we realized we were only given the discount for one night instead of three. I played phone tag with the hotel for over a week until they finally agreed to refund the rest of the money to my credit card. Then they never did it. I waited almost two weeks and then complained to my credit card company. So, don't trust what they tell you. The room we had there was tiny, there is no elevator and the stairs are steep. Our room was nothing like the picture on the web site. The ocean view deck looked like it was connected to the room but it was across the hall. The breakfast was terrible and the wine they offered was definitely from a box and not a good one.
