avid hotel Millsboro - Georgetown South, an IHG Hotel

My first time staying at an Avid. Let me start by saying that the staff was exceptionally friendly and hopeful. The lady at the front desk was super friendly on check-in as well. The rooms are smaller, but no major complaints at all everything was clean.

The only thing I would suggest in this is not anything that the single hotel can do to fix, but in terms of building these types of hotels in the long run having showers with glass doors, makes it difficult when you’re staying with people to use the bathroom and get showers done. Just sort of limits the use of the bathroom when you can see into the shower if you’ve got older kids with you or friends that you’re traveling with etc..

Absolutely excellent value for money. Super clean, bright, lovely comfortable beds. Wonderful staff, great gym, good breakfast. Really had a great stay here and will go out of our way to stay here again. Have not been so pleasantly surprised by a road trip hotel ever!!!!
