Coastal Wilds

Amazing experience! We will never forget our visit to Coastal Wilds! We did the Ultimate Otter Swim (kids version) and spent 3 hours viewing, interacting and feeding numerous animals. The excitement was no stop as my girls anticipated the next animal they would get to meet or hold. My oldest has been an otter lover for many years, so the otter swim definitely was her favorite, especially since we got the swim with the babies! The staff were very friendly, shared a ton of information and ensured we had the best experience possible. Worth every penny!

Had the best time!! We did the package with all of the encounters. The animals at Coastal Wilds are more unique than a typical zoo. The ultimate otter swim encounter was definitely the highlight and worth every penny. You get a solid hour with the otters which includes 45 minutes of pool time and ~15 minutes of towel dry with the otters on the pool deck. the group is kept small so you are able to enjoy the otters. This is such a cool and unique experience and the tour guides were all very knowledgeable. Definitely would recommend!!

Coastal Wilds was a great experience! I have always wanted to swim with otters and pet a kangaroo and I got to do both! You have to choose everything online and there are other add-ons too such as feeding a capybara which we also did and never in my life did I ever think I would hold a millipede but decided to try it and it wasn't as weird as I thought it would be. It is not like a zoo that you can go walk around on your own and visit. You have to be scheduled for everything and all activities have a guide. You swim with two otters and we happened to have a younger otter for the swim and the guide said he was teething and a biter. He sure did want to bite but we found that he could be distracted by a water gun. He loved attacking it lol! I would definitely go back again!!!
