We visited here after seeing that there would be a horseshoe crab feeding on their calendar online. After driving through some farmland and along the marsh, I wasn't sure what to expect but soon saw the inviting red roof of the building. When we got out of the car, we were welcomed by a chorus of happy shorebirds roosting in the sand near the nature center and on the sandbar and pilings in the water. Once we went inside, we were able to see the horseshoe crab feeding. They also have several other native species found in the marsh, an osprey nest with a camera, and displays about the horseshoe crabs and other marsh species. Definitely a special place.

Delightful education experience for young and old. Hundreds of different varieties of birds can be found on the shoreline. Young Osprey learning to build their nest. Come and enjoy a delightful experience.
