Emmanuel's Restaurant

A surprising delicious breakfast! We were heading out from Bethany Beach for the week when we decided to stop here for breakfast on a Saturday away from all the beach crowds. Glad we did because at 930am there we only a few folks.

We were a family of 5 enjoying something from all over the menu. I chose the Emmanuel's platter which was a scrambled eggs with tomatoes, onions and peppers with a side of sweet plantains, refried beans and 3 housemate tortillas. It was so filling! The coffee was nice and strong.

2 of my teenagers had the Huevos Rancheros. The tomato sauce was a bit spicy but they loved their dish. That came with tasty home potatoes.

My husband got the breakfast burrito and it was filling and delicious.

My 10 yo ordered the pancakes and they were big, fluffy, slightly sweet and so good.

We will definitely be back. Owner is super nice and engaging.

Had the Huevos Rancheros and a black coffee. It was delicious. The food had a nice amount of spice and heat. Looking forward to returning with family!

An often overlooked restaurant in Lewes, Emmanuel’s serves up really good, tasty food every time!! Plenty of seating inside and even outdoor seating in or out of the sun. We have eaten breakfast here many times and would recommend it without a doubt. The restaurant is in one half of an old gas station with not much to advertise its presence. But go and taste the food and you’ll go back for more!
