Fenwick Shores, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

I cant say this with enough confidence.. this place exceeds expectations and then some. quiet winter nights and comfortable rooms… but what makes the stay better so you dont walk else were is the bar staff.. Ken and Lori hold it down with great confidence,conversation and personality. Yea i could have gone else where but they made me feel like home. Ill surely be back and hope to see my family away from home again. I haven’t been here in summer but Winter wise.. its my go to if im here!

Beautiful hotel and beautiful stay. The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. With its proximity to the beach you would have thought it would be dirty or dingy but it was cleaned daily and the inevitable sandy bed linens were changed daily as well. Madelyn and Melissa at the front desk were above and beyond gracious to us. Only wish we could have stayed longer and that there was more staff at the rooftop bar but will be back!

Such a great location! Literally one block from the beach. We were given an “upgrade” to our room as diamond members, but I’m not sure that it felt like an upgrade. We booked a king suite and were upgraded to a queen suite on the first floor?!? How is a smaller bed an upgrade? The design concept in the room was wonderful, however the details of implementation were lacking. So many little things were crooked in the room it was like a game to find the next. Cabinet handles, shower handles, lol. The cleaning of the room was mediocre as the shower rails were gross and the floors had not been swept. However, the sheets and towels were clean and smelled good. And the wallpaper was really nice quality. The lock to the bedroom door is on the outside of the room, which is super weird. Staff was friendly and helpful. And we slept well through the night, which was the most important thing. Come morning the road noise was excessive, which is not the hotel’s fault, and the room was quite bright as the shades did not darken the room.
