Henlopen Hotel
We stayed at the Henlopen for a brief 3-night getaway to the beach and boardwalk of Rehoboth Beach. The hotel is quiet and quietly elegant. It's not a flashy new building and has its own kind of charm. If you're looking for flash this isn't your place.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room service is not automatic here and only happens when you ask for it beforehand. We were delighted that we got to sleep late without maids knocking on our door and vacuums in the hallway. The rooms are spacious. Ours had a balcony with two chairs and a lovely side view of the ocean. We stayed up late every night just talking and watching the waves. We definitely want to stay here again.

have stayed in this hotel on several occasions over quite a few years. service has always been wonderful and rooms are always comfortable and clean. nice partial ocean views from the balcony on the regular rooms and the oceanfront rooms are absolutely fantastic. great location right along the boardwalk and less than 50 steps between the hotel property and the sand. and far enough from the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk to be nice and quiet in the evening hours. decent amount of covered parking spots on the property as well. and reasonable pricing especially considering the location. 1000% would stay here again and recommend to everyone I know heading to Rehoboth!

Room and proximity to the beach was awesome. Expedia said there was a continental breakfast which translates to prepackaged muffins and oranges. The lobby has a fancy coffee machine which meant standing in a line of about 10 people first thing in the morning. The room had a Keurig... but 4 pods of decaf. The stuff that matters most for a beach visit was good but they could use some rethinking on the food and coffee - perhaps get Expedia on the same page.
