My husband truly enjoys Henlopen Hotel. It's clean, the water for a shower and bath is nice and hot and customer service is great and the bed and pillows are wonderful! My only dislike is, the television stations. They are limited and there not a wide selection of choices. But, other then that, we will recommend you to come and enjoy here at this hotel!

The hotel was terrific. Location is at the end of the boardwalk which is nice as it's quiet. Rooms are great, very clean, and can not hear the room next door. Parking is underground and is free with your hotel stay. Those who complain are not telling the facts. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Fresh linens and towels daily. Amenities for our stay was fine...coffee maker, small frig, and microwave. The beach chairs are $10 for the day and offer sever different types. Our 2nd time there and will definitely return.

Our room was freshly renovated and very clean. It was nice to have both a fridge and microwave. Four stars for the extremely loud AC unit. After one night of it roaring, we just cracked the balcony door with the screen closed. My parents with the oceanfront room did not report problems with a loud AC unit. Staff was very friendly and professional. Based on other reviews, we brought our smaller car and parking was fine--but we were glad to have done so. They'd benefit from some tables in the courtyard and under the lobby level overhang.
