We paid $10,000 to Jack Lingo Realtor which was the fee for the week. We had to pay for it before we entered the premises.
When we arrived, we found broken railings, rust covered metal objects with sharp edges that had not been removed from the property, and trash. I have two and four-year-old granddaughters who hurt themselves on the railings.
Additionally, there was trash in front of the property that had not been picked up. The lower faucet of the outside shower was broken. Several of us tried to turn it off. It would not turn off, and it took a repairman to fix it.
There were cleanliness issues in the kitchen. Attached are photos of what we found when we arrived. It appears that something is growing in the colander. My four-year-old granddaughter discovered it and is now literally afraid to go in the kitchen.
Also, the beds cave in the middle. My daughter has to sleep with both of her children because she can’t even sleep in her bed.
The only beach chairs that were available on this oceanfront property, were trash. We tried to use the one that appeared usable, and it ripped under my son as he sat down on it. . When we reported the problems we received an email that said nothing but the standard apology. It was not until we took the colanders to the office did we receive a call. The problems are not resolved and we are shocked at the totally inadequate response.
Jay Donough : 5 on 9/18/2024 10:56 am Jack Lingo. Very smooth process from booking to arrival to departure. The cleaning company noticed the main refrigerator not working. They had a replacement arrive within hours. The fridge eventually started working but they kept the temporary one there as a backup and also not to further disturb our vacation. The only minor thing I would change would have been with the description. Should have mentioned that parking at the house is not for full size SUVs or trucks. If I would have not scoped out the property prior I would have had a different car and not have been able to get to the house.
