Delectable European fare with a garnish of history!
Be prepared to be warmly welcomed and for a brief history lesson that explains the varied European selections on the menu.
The dishes were perfectly prepared, albeit not as large portions as I’d hoped. The KAISY was so light and fluffy with excellent flavor and the Eggs Benedict (BLT Benny) silky and multi-dimensional - bacon and sprouts were an unusual but welcome combination.
I would absolutely go back!
A fantastic foodie find with @seasyourmomenttravel

This is our go-to breakfast/lunch spot when we have some time to sit back, relax, and enjoy a wonderfully cooked meal and delightful ambiance. My family and I have enjoyed every meal we've had here - everything from the kaisserschmarrn to the ratatouille to the sausages. And don't forget the latkes and delicious desserts! The music adds a wonderful ambiance, and I sometimes close my eyes and imagine that I'm back in Europe enjoying a fantastic meal and cappuccino at a cafe. Seriously, give this place a try if you're looking for a unique experience and are tired of the chain restaurants or mediocre meals. The staff (especially the owner) take so much pride in making sure your meal and experience are stellar - including inviting first-timers into the vault to learn about the family history and recipes on the menu. Can't wait to come back again soon!

Quick review: Highly recommend for an elevated, flavorful and uncommon breakfast, brunch or lunch option! Absolutely lovely, quaint little restaurant with personality! Had late brunch here today with my children(one of which is a picky eater) and my mom. The picky child took one bite and said, "Oh my days! This is soo good!"
Extended review:
Both kids got the Decadent as their meal. My oldest was bragging to her friends about how good it was and my youngest loved it so much she said, "I'm full but I don't want to be!" when she was about halfway through. Oldest happily finished it off for her. :)
I had the Gröstl - Tiroler with Bratwurst, which was a single fried egg cooked how you prefer with their sautèed potatoes (seasoned potatoes with small bits of onion and bacon pieces) and a side of Sauerkraut it was Amazing! We also tried the Special Hot Cocoa, which my 15 year old demolished in 2 minutes because it was so good, Lemonade and a Spice Chai Tea which was the best I can recall having in years!
I am not typically one who eats cooked apple anything, but my mom ordered 2 Strudels (special dessert of the day, I think?). It was a flaky, layered pastry with apple, nuts and raisin filling and I couldn't stop enjoying it!
Thierry was a delight, accomodated us even though we arrived with only 10 minutes to kitchen closing and made us feel totally welcome once our orders were placed. Wonderful history, yummy food, lovely atmosphere and we will happily be returning guests!
