Bright and colorful is what you get once you're inside Matt's making everything taste better! Lol
Yep, don't let the exterior stop you... because the decor is uplifting as the menu, you'll see items like huge onion rings and hot Hawaiian buns but better yet the stuffed baked oysters with just the right combo of leeks and bacon and cheddar are especially tasty, full, and plump!
Raw oysters on the half shell seem to be a popular choice and a must try!
The servers are pleasant and efficient.
The twin crab cakes entree was delicious and the accompanying side of potatoes, corn, onions,and mushrooms made it extra special, an instant favorite! I highly recommend try it out...let me know what you think?

I stopped in for Happy Hour, the food here is always satisfying. I had the shuck a buck oysters which was surprisingly good, I'm usually scared the buck oysters are big, tough and ugly. The wings were delicious, the devil eggs a must. The lady next to me had the burger and it looked delicious!

We’ve been here so many times over the last 5-6 years and the food and service are ALWAYS great! Stopped in tonight with a group of 7 and expected a 1-2 hr wait (typical anywhere in the area on a Friday night in July), but only had a 15-20 min wait, and every person in our group loved their food! Everyone from the hostess and our server, to the food runners and bartenders were friendly and welcoming. We got the deviled eggs and onion rings to start, and ordered the clam strips, fried green tomato BLT, old bay wings, lobster mac and cheese, garden salad, and the scallop and shrimp pasta special. Everything was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back again soon. Can’t recommend Matt’s Fish Camp enough!

8/24/24 Update - Another great dinner at Matt’s! Got the clam strips again, sticky icky wings, crab cake sandwich, crab dip, and country fried chicken and as usual, everything was PHENOMENAL!
