We came here for breakfast. It was new and had pretty tablecloths and clean inside. We all had omelets. We had the midway omelet which had broccoli and avocado and bacon and it was excellent. We all had rye toast. I had the smoked salmon omelet which was also excellent. Someone else called it a lox omelet. It was very tasty. And the hash browns were excellent. They brewed a fresh pitcher of coffee. It was great. Free refills of course . The third omelet was their country omelet which we thought was a little dry. Three kinds of meat. Bacon, sausage and ham. The egg was a little dry. The service was attentive and friendly. Overall the food was good. After our meal the owner came out to chat with us and check on our experience.

Located in strip next to Dollar Tree, but dont let that deter you! Greated joyfully upon entering, service was timely, and the food was fantastic. I'm from Lancaster PA area and the Cream Chipped Beef was perfect. The Chicken Pesto sandwich was delicious as well. Large portions and food was hot. Definitely a good little spot with BREAKFAST ALL DAY! 😋

Looking for a new favorite spot in Lewes, Delaware? Look no further than Midway Cafe! This gem offers traditional American cuisine with a twist, serving up lunch, dinner, and the holy grail of meals: all-day breakfast. Yes, you heard that right—pancakes for dinner are totally a thing here.
Let’s talk food. The Mediterranean breakfast is a game-changer. If you’re into trying something new, the Turkish coffee and tea are must-haves. Trust me, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to a café in Istanbul without leaving Delaware.
The ambiance at Midway Cafe is spot on. It’s friendly, well-lit, and the decor is modest and unassuming—no pretentious vibes here, just good food and good times. The customer service? Outstanding. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure you have the best experience possible. AJ, the owner, is a standout—super friendly and always ready to help.
Special features? They’ve got ‘em. Aside from the aforementioned all-day breakfast, their Turkish breakfast options are something you won’t find everywhere. Plus, if you’re gluten-free, you’re in luck—they’ve got options for you too.
Prices are modest and affordable, so you can enjoy a great meal without breaking the bank. The central location is a bonus, with plenty of free parking available.
Overall, my experience at Midway Cafe was fantastic—better than I could’ve expected. If you’re in Lewes and haven’t checked this place out yet, do yourself a favor and go. You won’t regret it!
