Redden State Forest
First the positive, the park is quiet and serene with nice easy trails for families. The two main trails (Red & Blue) are well marked and easy to follow. The Blue trail is basically a wide dirt road while the Red trail is more of a short woods hike.
While the trails were well maintained and clean there was one major flaw; it was boring. It doesn't have any of the beautiful scenery that many of the other local trails do. I would recommend this park mainly for family bike rides. The Blue trail is wide enough to ride 3 to 4 abreast.

Hiking Trail Review
Redden State Forest Loop - 5 Miles
Very easy to find the trail head with a moderate parking lot. Free entry during this time of year. Trail is fairly bland but very peaceful and quiet. It’s relaxing and a nice trail to walk/run. Very pet friendly and no bugs today.

Awesome trails. The trail markers need updating, I used gps. There are many smaller trails that branch off from the main trails. I live closeby, so maybe after several hikes I'll know trails more. I wouldn't mind helping them map all the trails.
