We went on Sunday for our 1st time. Loved the atmosphere, and they were very busy as the line forming was constant. The food smelled amazing and you could tell everything was fresh and juicy.

The only odd thing, is that as juicy as the chicken and pork were, it just had no taste at all. Thankfully they're BBQ sauce is out of this world and extremely flavorful. The baked beans were deeeelicious but the cornbread was our least favorite. It was definitely moist but lacked that sweet taste that you expect from corn bread. It had more of a smoky burnt flavor to it. We will definitely be back to try the ribs and I'll probably get another pork sandwich but will get extra sauce so I can cover the pork!

Hubby and I have been wanting to check this place out for years and thankfully the stars finally aligned a couple of weeks ago when we were in the area. We stopped by a little after lunch time and got 1/2 rack of ribs to share, baked beans, cole slaw, corn bread and a hot dog for our golden retriever. The 1/2 rack of ribs was colossal and felt like it weighed a couple of pounds - hubby and I could barely finish 1/2 of them. I usually am not a big fan of dry rubs but Smokin D'z changed all that in one bite, I did get a couple of their wet sauces for dipping and both were delicious, my favorite was the spicier one though. All of the sides were absolutely amazing and the corn bread was warm and moist. Hubby snuck a bite of our pup's hot dog and both agreed it was the bomb. The sweet tea is also a must.

We actually enjoyed this place so much that we stopped back the next day on our way back home to Baltimore to pick up some more ribs and sides. Pretty sad they are now closed for the season since we'll be back down at the end of the month but we will be counting the days till they reopen in 2022.

The staff here goes above and beyond and there are lots of covered outdoor seating and on the weekends they even have a live band plus there's a produce stand in the same lot if you need to pick up some fresh fruits and veggies.

A family owned business in Milton, DE. Looks like they're open only during summer. Food is very reasonably priced around $10 with generous quantities of meat. We tried the chicken bbq (half chicken and 2 drumsticks). It is served with beans and dinner roll and the beans can be substituted with coleslaw if needed. They also have delicious corn bread.
The dad does the smoking / bbq and rest of the family helps all around. There's a sit-out with umbrellas and ample parking. I have seen people taking to go orders.
Overall a good experience, would visit again.
