Saw this diner on the road and decided to pop in. I don't discriminate against my first impression since small diners can have amazing food. Unfortunately, the service was slow and only had maybe 5 tables with customers. When the food finally arrived, the chip beef gravy, which had a good flavor, was cold but the 2 stars are for the grits. They were hot and good. Other than that, sadly I do not recommend the Southern Grill.

The restaurant sits on the highway.So as far as getting out, it could be easy depending on the time of day.But inside, I will admit it's a old school classic restaurant.It's nice my opinion the food is also good when it wants to be when they're not overwhelmed.
However, getting to the service, everybody in there.Looked like they're about to have a nervous breakdown.It's not even funny.I don't want people like that.Cooking my foodNo time for food poisoning

I’ve been coming to Southern Grill for quite a while now, and it’s truly a gem. Every day except Mondays and Tuesdays when they’re closed my experience has been nothing short of fantastic. The food is always cooked to perfection, the service is attentive and welcoming, and the cozy atmosphere makes it feel like home. Highly recommended! There’s simply no place like it in town see for yourself and thank me later.
