We absolutely enjoyed our stay here! The hotel was perfect for our short Christmas getaway. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas- nothing over the top, but well done. Each morning we awoke from here we headed down for breakfast; a spread I wasn't expecting (eggs, bacon, various types of sausage, omelet station, toast, cereal, juices, and etc.). Another amenity that we really enjoyed was the coffee all day and homemade cookies from 2-4pm. We stayed in the Garden Room (Adults Only) section- it was very, very quiet! The room was clean and quaint. The only downside was that there were some cable issues and we could not watch any tv on Christmas Eve. or Christmas morning. Overall, we enjoyed everything about this hotel, including how centrally located it is to restaurants, shops, and the boardwalk.

Hotel is beautiful inside and in the perfect location. LOL We stayed in a suite on the 4th floor where there was a nice library. We tried to play a dvd from the library but the remote wouldn’t connect to the dvd player. The cable tv froze every few minutes. There was no water bottles in the room.

Most importantly, the room needed upgrades. It smelled musty and the bathroom tile grout should be redone. The bathroom was so small that the sink was in the bedroom area and the bathroom door barely cleared the toilet. The room should be renovated to accommodate the space. The price of this hotel was way too high for this room quality. In addition, the walls were very thin. We could constantly hear doors slamming and people talking.

The included breakfast was very good with an omelet station and buffet. The servers were friendly, but one hostess was quite loud shouting across the room to the other staff.

The hotel lobby and courtyard is quaint and decorated nicely. There were festive gourds and pumpkins displayed for the fall. You can’t beat the location of the hotel since it was easy walking distance to shops and the boardwalk.

Additionally, the massages at the spa were fabulous and relaxing. Thomas and Jay were our massage therapists- we highly recommend them. However, we were disappointed that the jacuzzi at the spa was closed already for the season.
