A hidden gem tucked right in the heart of downtown Milford. The atmosphere has that classic speakeasy vibe, intimate, relaxed, and full of character. The craft cocktails are top-notch, perfectly mixed and beautifully presented. The food matches the quality of the drinks: fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Whether you’re stopping in for a night out or just passing through, this place is absolutely worth the trip.

I suggest you make a reservation. It is a smaller venue.

The Cured Plate in Milford is a true gem! The speakeasy-style atmosphere is awesome, and our server/bartender Jacky made the night even better with great service.

We started with the Shrimp & Corn Bisque and the Crack Chicken Skillet Dip—both packed with flavor. For entrées, I had the Maple & Sweet Mustard Bone-In Pork Chop (perfectly cooked and full of flavor) while my wife had the Mushroom Bordelaise Filet Mignon (rich and tender) w/ a beautiful overstuffed crab cake on the side. We finished with the Salted Pumpkin-Vanilla Crunch Cake—the pumpkin was very subtle, letting the caramel and crunch shine, which we loved.

Cocktails were equally outstanding: I enjoyed the Capone and Luciano, and my wife had the Rum Row and the It Girl.

Every bite and sip was spot on. Highly recommend this place for a unique dining experience!

Delaware needs more places like this! I visited solo on a whim on a Wednesday night and I'm so glad I did. I was a little confused at the entrance when confronted with a note to ring a bell for service - a throw back to recreate an old speakeasy experience. I don't feel it really added anything for me, but I appreciate the attention to detail.

The place is very dimly lit - another commitment to the bit - and features menus that light up when you open them (a fun surprise!).

I sat at the bar and started off the night with a Bees Knees cocktail and Bloody Mary Deviled Eggs. The cocktail was as expected, but the eggs might have been the best I've ever had.

Next I had a Mandarin Vanilla Bean Sour - probably my favorite drink of the night - and Stuffed Jalapeño Poppers (also excellent).

For a main course I ordered the Marinated Yellowfin Tuna Steak. It was plated beautifully and portioned just right, and I paired it with a Dogfish Head 60 minute IPA. It's worth noting that the beer menu is nothing to write home about with only 4 common offerings.

Finally, I opted for dessert and went with the Peach Hot Honey Cheese Cake and paired it with a Corjello cocktail, which turned out to be a perfect pairing.

Overall this place is excellent. Great menu, ingredients, presentation, and vibe. I think the focus on charcuterie is an odd fad choice, but I don't hate it, and the menu beyond that is solid. I'll definitely be back! Oh, and shout out to Jackie, who is an excellent bar tender.
