Looking for a last minute dinner restaurant . Passed Tokoyo a few times in the past so we ventured in. We didn't have a wait and were offered seating in the dinning room or the room to watch your chef prepare your meal. We opted for the show. The show was fantastic. A whole 30 minute show while your food was being cooked. We were the only couple there and it's was definitely unique. The food was fresh ans delicious. The food was priced very reasonable. A definite must try if you are in the area. Practice catching some food before you go bc you may have to try and catch some there. Lol.

I visited this place with high expectations due to my strong interest in Japanese cuisine. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet those expectations.
The kani salad sauce was overly salty. Even after specifically requesting a less salty option and having the soy sauce replaced by the server, it was still served extremely salty.

The sushi and appetizer platter I ordered was also disappointing in terms of taste and overall quality. The balance of flavors and execution were below my expectations. For these reasons, I do not plan to return.

We went to eat tonight. Food was good. Service was not good at all. Our waitress Ariana was awful. Boyfriend ordered soda he got water, I order one Acqua Panna. The bottle was not open and no glass where I can pour it. She only brought the food. Thought she would come back for a glass or opened it. She didn’t do it. When my bf asked to the acqua panna taken way from our bill and ask for the soda that he initially asked for, she roll her eyes. Then she brought the wrong check the first time. Still having the acqua panna on our bill. I don’t write reviews but I am so upset.
