“It’s a Wrap” Gallery Show
Gallery One is pleased to announce the December show, “It’s a Wrap” open to the
public December 4, 2024, through January 2, 2025.
The idiom, “It’s a wrap,” signifies the completion of a project, task, or event. It
means that something has successfully come to an end. As we wrap up 2024, the
artists of Gallery One are visualizing happy endings. Artist Ed Lewandowski’s oil
painting, “Winter’s Welcome,” is both a wrap up of a lovely winter’s eve, and a
welcoming sight for the spirit. “A front porch wrapped in lights is always a warm
and welcoming sign of the holidays.” In "Time to Head Home," an acrylic painting
by artist Eileen Olson, and in Laura Hickman’s pastel, “Leaving Lido,” we
experience the ending of a day at the beach, albeit two very different beaches.
While the glorious sunrise in artist Lesley McCaskill’s acrylic, “Fishing at the
Inlet,” wraps up the previous night and begins a new day.
